My Journey

Moving to Finland from my home country, Ukraine, opened a long-awaited door.

Touching clay felt like love at first sight—a quiet homecoming. I began shaping, then followed the pull of creation into metal and silver jewelry.

When war broke out in Ukraine, sculpting deepened. It became more than art—it became survival. A way to hold life with my hands. To bear witness to beauty in the midst of rupture. Shaping became a still place where I could process, observe, and feel peace.

Now, because shaping is how I live—and because I can’t stop—I begin to open up. I let the work be seen. I let it speak.

about

I shape to breathe.

My sculptures are moments of healing—forms that hold softness and ease within solid weight. I was not trained in traditional art schools, but shaping is how I listen. How I live. It is not a choice.
